Holley Maher is a pop songwriter, recording artist, illustrator, and entrepreneur based in Nashville, Tennessee. Through her career in music, her influence as the creative director of Wink Wink Paper Co., and her work as co-founder of The Other Nashville Society, Holley hopes to elevate the artistic magnetism of the city she calls home.
Holley is multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, recording artist, and producer. Over the course of her career in synch licensing, her songs have been used in dozens of television shows, and in national and global ad campaigns for brands like Nutella, Ikea, Cheerios, ModCloth, BirchBox, and Pandora Jewelry.
In addition to her solo music, Holley is in an all-female band called VALA. Kristen Rogers, Marie Hines, and Holley Maher collaborated to form this pop trio, releasing a self-titled EP in 2018 produced by Kyle Andrews and mixed by Grammy-nominated mix engineer Edward Spear. Their song “Take Me Home” was recently featured in the season 4 promotional trailers for the hit show Outlander on Starz. VALA has 6 new songs set to release in 2019.
Holley’s new solo pop project ZOA will launch on January 18, 2019 with a debut single called “Wasted Time.”
Holley is also the owner and creative director behind stationery brand Wink Wink Paper Co. Here, she designs and illustrates her own line of paper goods in addition to taking on freelance clients for custom portraits, branding, and invitation design.
Holley is currently illustrating a book called Little Kid, Big City! New York with author Beth Beckman, which is being represented by Writers House Agency.
In 2018, Holley joined four other Nashville music business influencers and entrepreneurs to co-found The Other Nashville Society. Part social club and part trade organization, The Other Nashville Society was founded as a connection point for music creators and professionals working outside of the country industry in Nashville, with the goal of making “Music City” an all-genres Mecca and elevating its global influence.
